Hear It From Me

For as long as I can remember, I suffered from anxiety. I was an only child who grew up in a toxic household. My parents hated each other, stayed together for the sake of me, but didn't realize how much it was going to affect me later on. It is really scary having your body react to anxiety and trauma. It takes time and a complete mindset shift to heal the trauma. It is a long process that needs to be nurtured.

It was only the past few years, that I have been noticing how much it has affected me. I have struggled more than ever the past few years silently. I knew I needed to get out my thoughts that I always pushed to the back of my head. The only way to do so was to write about it. It is extremely hard to talk about. I have panic attacks and my breathing starts to get affected. I figured I would start a blog to document my experience and journey.

Know that you are not alone. There are many people who will be there to help you. Although some days are harder than others, keep pushing to become the best version of yourself! There is so much out there that you still have to see!
